Mukesh Sharda

MANAGING PARTNER

Mukesh is the Founder and Managing Partner of Capital Square Partners Management Pte. Ltd.

He has over 25 years of experience in private equity, structured finance, and investment banking across the United States, Southeast Asia, and India.

He has led or co-led investments representing over US$2 billion of enterprise value, including proprietary transactions at CSP and previously at Avenue Capital. Notable investments include Encora (formerly Indecomm) (exited to Warburg Pincus, 2019), Minacs (exited to Concentrix, 2016), and Trianz, an AI-powered cloud migration and digital transformation platform.

Mukesh also led the acquisition of controlling stake in CCI Global and its subsequent merger with a portfolio company in March 2026 to create a scaled global customer engagement platform.

Prior to founding CSP, Mukesh was Executive Director and Country Head at Avenue Capital Group, a global investment manager with over US$20 billion in AUM, including approximately US$5 billion dedicated to Asia. He established and led the firm’s Southeast Asia and India investment platform, executing complex cross-border transactions across sectors and building high-performing investment teams across Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, and India.

Earlier in his career, Mukesh spent over a decade in investment banking in Singapore and Hong Kong, primarily with Deutsche Bank, where he structured and executed balance sheet financings and advised on IPOs and cross-border M&A transactions.

Mukesh is a Chartered Accountant (rank holder) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Gujarat University, graduating among the top of his class. He has also completed advanced leadership and executive development programs at Deutsche Bank.
